The Cabinet has approved the continuation of a centrally sponsored scheme for Fast Track Special Courts for another three years.
The centrally sponsored scheme for Fast Track Special Courts has the following purposes:

  • To promote faith in the judiciary and rule of law by providing timely justice and reducing the waiting time for trials.

  • To provide financial assistance and support to the states and Union Territories for establishing and maintaining these special courts.
