The Indian government has implemented several measures to control environmental pollution. Some of these measures include:

Despite these measures, India still faces severe pollution issues. The country has been ranked among the most polluted in the world by the World Health Organization. This indicates that the government needs to do more to address the problem. Compared to international laws and practices, these measures may not be comprehensive enough. India can learn from successful environmental policies and practices in other countries and adopt them to better control pollution.
