The Civil Services Examination (CSE) is one of the most prestigious and competitive exams in India. The educational qualifications required for appearing in the exam are as follows:

• A candidate must hold a degree from any recognized university or possess an equivalent qualification.
• Candidates who are in the final year of their graduation can also apply for the exam, provided that they produce valid proof of passing the degree examination at the time of the Personality Test (interview).
• Candidates who have professional and technical qualifications recognized by the Government can also apply.
• Candidates who have passed the final year of MBBS or any Medical Examination but are yet to complete the internship can also apply for the exam.
• Candidates with a degree from a Foreign University must produce an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

These are the basic educational qualifications required for appearing in the Civil Services Examination in India. Additionally, candidates must also satisfy the age and other eligibility criteria set by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
