Meanwhile, a group of BJP MLAs from Manipur met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi to discuss various issues related to the state. The main objectives of the meeting were to seek central assistance for flood relief and development projects, to demand the implementation of the Inner Line Permit in the state, and to request the Centre's intervention in the border dispute with Mizoram. They also discussed issues related to the upcoming Assembly elections in the state.
