India and the U.S. have collaborated on space exploration and technological innovation, with NASA and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) sharing data and resources. Some of the ways in which India and the U.S. have collaborated on space exploration are:

• ISRO has collaborated with NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) to develop synthetic aperture radar and help in NASA’s Mars Mission.
• The United States has provided India with satellite data for weather forecasting and disaster management.
• NASA and ISRO have collaborated on developing a Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) to study the Earth’s surface.
• India is also a participant in the NASA Lunar Polar Exploration program, which aims to build the Lunar Gateway.
• The two countries have also collaborated on space security, with the 2004 Next Steps in Strategic Partnership helping to improve strategic and cybersecurity cooperation.
• India and the U.S. have also worked together to develop the Global Exploration Roadmap, which outlines collaborative efforts for long-term human exploration of space.
