Immediate financial assistance is being provided to the states to support their disaster management efforts and aid in relief operations. 3. Rescue and relief operations are being carried out on a war footing with the assistance of national and state disaster response forces. 4. Shelter, food, medical assistance, and other essential supplies are being provided to the affected populations. 5. Rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts will be undertaken post-disaster to help the communities rebuild their lives and livelihoods. 6.
